Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about America's finest Wagyu and Northwest beef.

How is my order packaged for shipping?

All orders are packed in eco-friendly, insulated containers with enough dry ice to ensure your meat arrives frozen or perfectly chilled. We use high-density foam and thermal liners to maintain the cold chain during transit.

What is the difference between American Wagyu and USDA Prime?

American Wagyu is a cross between traditional Japanese Wagyu and high-quality continental breeds. It features significantly higher marbling and a more buttery texture than USDA Prime, which is the highest grade of standard domestic beef.

Can I schedule a specific delivery date?

Yes, during the checkout process, you can select a preferred delivery date from our shipping calendar. We recommend choosing a date 1-2 days before any special event to account for potential weather delays.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Currently, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses. We require a physical street address to ensure our carriers can deliver your perishable items as quickly as possible.

How should I thaw my Snake River Farms beef?

For the best results, we recommend slow-thawing your beef in the refrigerator. Depending on the thickness of the cut, this typically takes 24 to 48 hours. Never thaw meat at room temperature or under hot water.

What is your return policy for perishable goods?

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order or it arrives damaged, please contact our Customer Care team within 30 days for a resolution or replacement.
